A few weeks ago I finished my first crochet project!
I’m not very creative when it comes to projects.
In a previous post I showed a pink crocheted wrap I had made. That was actually my second project. This one was my first, made with lace-weight yarn.
I had no idea what I was doing. Later I discovered I was supposed to be crocheting shells. But by that time I was already a long ways in and didn’t want to start over again. So there is a lovely irregular pattern running throughout the wrap.
Uneven stitches, gaping holes — you name it. It’s all in there.
To those who have never crocheted, perhaps that looks fine. Until you look at the photograph that came with the pattern and see what it’s supposed to look like.
Uh… okay, so mine looks a little different.
I’m sure they must have had a machine make this. Yeah, that’s it.
Oh well, I guess I can only get better!
