There’s a word I hear a lot lately, and it’s the word “handcrafted.” I used to think of a great piece of wordworking, or some beautifully hand-made jewelry, or a hand-blown glass vase.
But now it seems to apply to a coffee drink you can get at Starbucks.
It’s been a while since I’ve made jewelry but over Thanksgiving weekend I had a chance to make some earrings. I also finished a scarf this week — motivated because I got some new yarn, which meant I had to finish up an old project! The silly rules I make for myself.
I bought this yarn a while back and it was a quick project to knit a scarf out of it. It’s yarn made out of recycled silk saris.
I finally finished another knitting project! It has taken a while because I have been working on 3 projects at once.
