Last week at our teenage Bible study, we had the kids take parts of Matthew 5 and rewrite them according to modern-day interpretation. They were quite creative.

Yesterday my mom and my son went with me to have a holiday tea in Roseville. It’s a bummer Corrie couldn’t join us — she caught the flu. :-(

 
Los Altos family

Yesterday our family took a quick one-day visit down to visit Albert’s family. His sister Audrey’s family was visiting from Denver, so we swung down to visit everyone.

 
Low-key Christmas

At Ministry Director’s meeting the other week, we shared what our Christmas traditions were. I said, “Our family has always been involved in Christmas Eve service, and then we spend Christmas Day recovering.”

Well that was definitely the case this year!

 
Albert’s company Christmas party

Tonight Albert and I headed out to Roseville for the Christmas party with all his fellow workers. We were stuck in 1.5 hours of traffic! Albert drove and I slept almost the whole way.
