This summer during my vacation I discovered an app that I totally fell in love with, called Noteshelf. It’s basically an electronic version of a handwritten piece of paper. I liked it because I could write in it just like a piece of paper.
Plus, with lots of pretty colors, I made my to-do list up with different types of calligraphy!
Sleep is my constant challenge. For a while I was on some meds that caused me to do some weird things, like fall out of bed and not remember it the next morning! One day I got up in the middle of my sleep to go to the bathroom and tried to write down the time and it looked like this:
I am not sure if it’s just today or if it’s ongoing, but Google had a very funny logo today on its home page.
I recently got an iPhone 4 and cover for it. It’s so cute and since I am a book cover now I find that I carry my phone just about everywhere!

If you are a regular reader of this blog, you know that I am highly dependent on my computer. It is the other half of my brain and my primary tool for productivity and efficiency. So, it was with great sadness today that I said goodbye to it.
I was banging my head on the table because even though I had taken lots of notes and made highlights on my Kindle, the text file that came out was practically garbage. But technology to the rescue — a free app to help make those garbly Kindle notes readable! It’s called “My Clippings” and it works like a charm!
These past two days I have attended the Willowcreek Global Leadership Summit. What a totally amazing conference! It remains my favorite yearly conference of all-time, the only conference I have consistently attended for the past… uh… hmm… 5? 6? 7? 8? years? Not sure! It’s been a while!
