There has been a long blog hiatus — mostly because:
1. I have been sick and so every free moment has been spent resting.
2. I have been working on the Christmas Eve program for my church, University Covenant.
Now that it is over, it’s time to recover and catch up!
So here’s a summary of what happened…

This past weekend we held a marriage conference. It was a new conference from Family Life, called “The Art of Marriage.” It was quite an excellent conference!

After doing the stage, it was time to attend to the lighting.
This was a bear. We had 19 lights on our 30-foot ceiling to move. I am so thankful that one of our church members generously donated a lift they got off of Craigs List. I can’t imagine doing all this with a ladder. But the lift did not have wheels, which meant to change each light it meant theoretically the process was supposed to be:
Oasis is our Friday morning women’s Bible study. Many women have mentioned that they would love to go to Oasis in the morning, but. have work or schedule conflicts. So, last night Oasis had a Prime Time event welcoming women who are not usually able to attend!
The second and final day of the Catalyst conference was just as amazing as the first. I just cannot believe the continued caliber of excellence, impact and power of this entire conference!
