A recent trip to the library combined two areas of interest in a fascinating way.
I am a self-confessed bookaholic. I also hate spending money. So I will spend hours in a bookstore and walk away with nothing, or maybe 1 book if it’s super cheap on sale. But it’s another story when I go to the library! Here’s a picture of the result of my last visit browsing at the library.
Another post about new things I’ve been learning lately… Always random topics!
Since I have a bad memory, I forgot that one of my goals was to blog different things I’m learning. Of course I instantly forgot I was going to do that.
But since I’ve finally remember, here’s just a short list of random topics I learned about this week.
I recently a lot about how brains work from two different sources — a video about teenage brains, and a book called Your Brain at Work, by David Rock.
I have now been off of work officially for one week. I wasn’t sure if taking time off would really help but apparently it has!
I love books. They are my weakness. But there’s a problem. They take up a lot of room. And another problem. The book-reading habit can be expensive.
That is… until now!
My brain hurts. I have spent all day learning stuff. If brains grew, mine would probably be the size of Australia right now.
A few months ago I listened to a podcast from a speaker who said he writes down all his ideas because he gets a bunch of bad ideas before he stumbles upon good ideas.
