Over at Design Arts Today, I put up a new post about my thought process as I put a title slide together. Click here to read it.
Those of you who read my blog (or even glance at it for that matter) will notice the hodge podge of topics on this site — anything from funny quotes to photography to thoughts on leadership. If you ever doubted whether I had focus problems, well, I guess this is proof that I do.
But now there’s good news — no longer do you have to slog through posts that don’t interest you. You can now subscribe to category RSS feeds.
In phases of my life, I have found myself to be reluctant in answering God’s call. A feeling of inadequacy is one of the main reasons. New post at Faith Action Steps about the theme of inadequacy.
I wrote this post with my kids in mind… I love my kids dearly and my greatest desire is for them to grow spiritually. Paul’s prayer inspired me in how to better pray for them, but it applies to praying for anyone we want to grow spiritually (including ourselves!)

I admit it.
I’m selfish. I really like having my own way a lot of the times. So when I came across this verse, it was a bonk over the head for me.
Onto a new map! The yellow area is the detailed map below.
Day 55
(4.8.10)
Today I ended at the Keene Recreation Center in Washington DC. Hey! I’m in DC!!! I didn’t even know because according to Google maps it says I’m in Mount Rainier.
Still plodding eastward through Maryland. I am not a prolific walker. At this rate, it’s going to take thousands of days to get across the United States!
Day 51 (Apr 4)
9639 steps. Today I cut through a greenbelt park of some sort. There’s no Google Street View for parks, but I poked around and found this ranger station in the park. Guess it must be a pretty big park then!
