brochure design

Well, I am just about done working on a brochure for my friend David Chow, a certified StrengthsFinder consultant. Up to now he has not had a brochure so I have had fun the past couple of days putting one together for him.

I admit my design skills feel a bit rusty and it took me a while before I got into the groove of things. Here’s the final design for the front cover and inside flap (back is bio and contact info, not shown).

And the inside:

And while I’m at it, I’d like to give a plug for David’s services. He has helped me discover a lot about my personal wiring and how to be effective in what I do. It was really helpful when he helped me process through why my Sunday this last week was so draining. (For example, one of my Strengths is Achiever, and Achievers don’t like it when they feel like they didn’t achieve or do a good job, so my messing up communion made me feel tired!) He does consulting for organizations and individuals and helps with leadership development. I wish all leaders could learn about this stuff – it makes a huge impact on being a more effective leader!

He doesn’t have a website yet… that’s my next project!

That looks great! Your “rusty” is still better than my best efforts!
