full house

This afternoon was a very fun time full of people! I love it when people come over! I guess I really am an extrovert, though most people don’t think so because I am a quiet extrovert. I am very happy when our house is full of people. 🙂

The Nielsens (except for Karen, who couldn’t make it) came over for a massive game of Warcraft. We are totally the geek family. I forgot to post a picture of our living room… all computers!

Daniel’s playing on the left, Albert is holding Steven and watching, another Steven (Nielsen) is playing on Albert’s computer, Megan is playing on one of her computers, and her other computer is behind my computer on the right (double monitor). It is fun to know another family that shares the same love of computers. 🙂

My sister Corrie dropped off her baby as she and her hubby went off to the mall to celebrate their anniversary. Turns out she got a Macbook Pro! Yes! Another addition to the family.

It turns out little Gracie loves babies. It was so cute to watch her entertain Steven. She could have kept occupied doing that the whole time if he hadn’t gotten tired and fallen asleep. Two kids as cute as buttons…

Gracie spent quite a bit of time playing peekaboo with Steven, while Steven tried to eat his bib.

Then she lay on the floor and imitated him and he would turn on his side to look at her. He almost flipped over!

In the end, he fell asleep but didn’t sleep well so we carried him around. Albert rested with Steven. I love how Steven’s face is kind of mashed but he is sound asleep and doesn’t care!

And after a while, Albert gave Steven to me so I carried Steven around. He was so tired he passed the “limp arm test,” which is when I dropped his arm, it just fell and dangled there because he was so sound asleep. Love his chubby little arms and cheeks!

While the kids (and adults, the big kids) were playing on the computers, I was on the computer too, doing some Photoshop work. The job was to take the current photo of our worship center, and change it up with black curtains and lighting.

Photo I took this morning. Our worship center is actually a multi-purpose room, also used as a gym for basketball.

Redone photo of how the place might look afterwards with a change of curtains and lighting. Of course the actual room would be much darker for the colored lights to show up!

There was a break in the action as we had pizza together that the Nielsens brought and smoothies that Albert made. Soon Corrie and Steve came back… good timing too, since Steven refused to eat!

What a great day… lots of people in the morning at church, and friends and family later. God has answered our prayers by providing some really wonderful friends here at Davis. We are so spoiled!

Thanks for babysitting! We had a great time going out to dinner and dessert (and buying a computer!). Looks like you guys had a lot of fun, too!
