Davis under water

It is amazing how much it’s been pouring lately. Too bad I didn’t capture a shot of the other day when 6 days in a row the weather was forecast for rain. But  here’s how my computer looks right now:

Wow. Sun. That’s a novelty. Look at that too — 22 degree weather change in a few days.

Today it pretty much rained nonstop. There wasn’t a single break til about 5:30, just in time for me to run home from work without getting doused. (Unlike when I went to work, it was raining and blowing so much it blew my door open and sprayed water all over my face.)

Megan took a picture of her school campus today.

I wish I could go out on the Causeway (I-80 east of Davis, between Davis and Sacramento). What used to be swampy marshland is now large lakes with trees halfway under water.

Good thing I like rain!
