Men (and women) in Black

A few weeks ago at small group, we realized that all three women (Karen, Stacy and I) had gotten the memo on what to wear that night.

So, they had us do a Charlie’s Angel’s pose for a picture.

Then this past week, Glen and his Next Gen (4th and 5th grade youth group) leaders all dressed up to interview potential leaders. This included Glen and his kids Hannah and Stephen, looking suitably intimidating and professional. Glen’s the staff leader and the other leaders are all high school students.

As Glen tweeted in a photo, the potential leaders were interrogated… er, I mean interviewed… by the current leaders.

Meanwhile Glen stood guard outside. The poor interviewees didn’t get a memo.

Perhaps the theory was if anyone can survive this interview process, they surely can survive a room full of 4th and 5th graders.
