A few weeks back I completed my second beaded edging project — lace edging for a tank top.
This project is from the book The Beaded Edge: Inspired Designs for Crocheted Edgings and Trims, though my work doesn’t give the book justice. Let’s just say I’m a beginner. 🙂
Here’s the collar, made with larger beads and heavier-weight thread.
The bottom uses more fine materials but the same pattern.
In the book, the examples are perfect. Mine…
are uneven have personality. Yeah. Personality. That’s it.
This project took forever because I miscalculated and made it too short so I had to piece together two different strands around the neckline and then another two different strands for the bottom. Hopefully it’s not obvious, but it took me a long time to try to fix my mistake.
Crocheted edgings are so pretty!
