Creative accounting

Daniel bought his textbook for accounting today. Unfortunately, it didn’t come with a binding or cover. It was a couple pounds of a big stack of paper. And Daniel didn’t have a binder to put the pages in and needed to use the book for class. Plus, a trip home to get a binder was half an hour away. Buy a binder? No way. He’s Asian. No spend money.

However, my clever son came up with a solution. He took the only things he had available — the shrink-wrapped plastic that the book was covered in — and ripped it up to make plastic ties for the holes. This kept his book together.

I was pretty proud of such a resourceful and no-cost solution. Makes his Asian mother proud!
