Visual memory verses

Aug 19th — Memorizing the Bible is really important but it is very hard for me. I have a terrible memory. So, I tried to capitalize on my strengths because I find it easier to memorize pictures and graphics. I made some memory verse cards using graphics!

It was relatively quick to throw together different cards with different layouts. Then I cut them out and laminated them. They are business-sized so they don’t take much room.

The graphics were created all on one letter-sized sheet in Adobe Illustrator. I only needed to cut them out after printing. I used business-card sized laminating pouches to make it easier. Laminators are fairly cheap on Amazon so I got one and fed the card through and voila! Memory verse cards that appeal to the visual learner. I am really glad that I’m pretty quick on Illustrator and so thankful for modern technology. Trying to make these graphics by hand would have been super tedious!

I love these cards and they sure have made memorizing verses easier. I have now collected more verses I want to memorize so soon it will be time to make another batch.
